Fine - I will be predictable and talk politics. Not very much, I'm just going to say this:
When Conservatives gasp at the idea that we Obama supporters will vote for him again, it's like Liberals gasping at the reelection of Bush. Yes, I still like him. Yes, I feel he is doing exactly what I put him in office to do. The fact that you still hate him isn't really that effective as a means to convince me otherwise. Some of the reasons I voted for him and will vote for him again:
Combat troops out of Iraq
Increased attention on Afghanistan
Making health care more accessible and affordable to more people
Recovering the economy

Would I like more? YES! That's why I can't wait to give him 4 more years to do it. Having said all this - I am PSYCHED for the whole damn thing. Who will the GOP go for? I say Mitt or Huntsman because I have faith in the Party to stop the dog and pony show and get serious. Debate between either of these two and the President will raise the bar. I respect both of these opponents, but put my money on my President. Let the games begin!
Ok, so on to other things. Have I mentioned we love where we live? Have I mentioned my kids are the smartest, coolest people on earth? Have I mentioned my boyfriend is a delicious hunk of manly manhood and sticky sweetness all in one? Well then I guess it's all covered.
Oh, I ordered something from an infomercial for the second time in my life last night. What it is, I will not say. Just know this - there was no fighting it - it had me at "BUT WAIT!". I ran for my card, Jeff cheering me on, I made the call, I got my free bonus, I got my slashed payment and I got my amazing product. I hung up, spent from the frenzy of beating the clock and reveling in my decisiveness. It will be in my hot little hands by Friday.
